About Empowering Minds and Unlocking Potential
A Passion for Learning
"For over 20 years, my life has been an intricate tapestry woven with threadbare classrooms, cozy family rooms, and bustling community halls, all connected by a single, unwavering purpose: bridging the gap between mental health and education. As a seasoned mental health professional and educational leader, I've seen firsthand the transformative power of inclusion and support, especially for those facing the challenges of autism.
It all began in the trenches of early education, where I, as an exceptional needs teacher, witnessed the boundless potential of young minds across the spectrum. From kindergarten to high school, I navigated diverse specializations, each experience igniting a fiercer passion within me to champion ALL abilities. This passion transcends the classroom walls, propelling me to walk hand-in-hand with families navigating the complexities of autism, my own story offering solace and guidance.
But my mission doesn't stop at individual families. I stand shoulder-to-shoulder with communities, amplifying the need for acceptance and understanding, relentlessly advocating for resources that empower and uplift. The accolades I've received – local, state, and national – are humbling reminders of the impact I create. Yet, the true reward lies in witnessing potential unleashed, families finding hope where shadows once resided.
This isn't just my bio; it's a beacon, a map towards a world where inclusivity reigns supreme, where every mind receives the support it deserves. I'm not done yet, not by a long shot. My fire burns bright, paving the way for a future where acceptance builds bridges across differences, leaving a legacy of belonging and empowerment in its wake."
